Scraper knife with spare blades | Sharp cutting of interior wrapping foil

Nothing gives away a DIY project as quickly as a ragged cut edge. Wrapping foil is thin yet tough: a knife that is even slightly dull will pull and tear instead of cutting. With this snap-off knife, you cut with a fresh, sharp blade every time.

That is exactly why it is a snap-off system. If you notice the blade is pulling, snap off the front segment and you can immediately get back to work with a sharp edge. No hassle with sharpening, no half-finished job with a worn-out blade. Spare blades are included, so you don't run out halfway through.

Cut the wrapping foil after you have pressed it in and it has cooled, not before. Lay the knife flat against the edge or the recess, cut in one smooth motion and do not pull back. Always cut away from your body and place a cutting mat or a piece of cardboard under the edge when working on the front itself.

For small cutouts, such as a hinge, a handle hole, or a socket, cut diagonally from the center to the corners. Fold the flaps inward before finishing them, then you keep the visible edge tight.

Store the knife with the blade inserted and keep the snapped-off segments in a sealed container. Not loose in the trash.
